Our mission is to assist low income families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder). The last five years has made me very familiar with ARFID and Autism and one thing I've learned, is if these individuals don't have their safe food, they're not going to eat. As a lower income autism parent myself, I have spent my last dollars on my sons safe food to ensure he'd eat, even if it meant I did not. Autism families already have enough on our shoulders whether it's therapies, IEP meetings, or just fighting for our children's rights, FOOD shouldn't be an additional worry. Every item sold from the collection donates towards The Safe Plate, which will then be donated to an autism family who's in need, to allow for a stress-free, safe meal.
